We’re back!

We are back from our little weekend getaway. We had a great time in Alabama. Jon’s family is so nice and made us feel at home. We ate like pigs the entire weekend. Jon’s Granny made this enormous breakfast for us. Bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, drop biscuits with powdered sugar and apple butter, fresh fruit! Man, it was great. Then his Mom and Dad made us basically the same thing this morning. We were spoiled. We got some time on the beach yesterday. We got to see the sunet and it wasnt so hot it was nice. It was good to get away because it took my mind of this ultrasound coming up tommorow. If I was at home I would just be thinking about it all day and just be so anxious for it to come! So I am off to bed to get a good nights sleep then I will wake up and it will be time!

Spontanious Road Trip!

We are about to be on our way to gulf Shores for a quick weekend trip with Tess and Jon! I called them to see what they were up to and he said they were fixing to leave for Alabama to visit his family and to show them the wedding pictures. I said “Aw wish we could go” and he said well I guess you could! So I call Cam he said its ok so I hurry and pack and we are about to leave! We are crazy, but once the baby comes we probably wont be able to just get up and leave like this so we might as well do it while we can. We are going to board Mace which I dont like doing up here, but for 3 nights he can handle it.

19 weeks today and the baby is the size of a small zuchini. Wasnt I just saying a grape not too long ago? Man!? This is flying by. We go Monday for the ultrasound and in one of my magazines I saw this place that does the 4D ultrasounds. I think we are going to do it sometime too. Its just so amazing how you can see all the detail in the baby. Just about everyone at work is saying its a girl. There is only a few saying boy now. This week went by kind of slow so I am glad today is over. ONWARD MONDAY!!

Biggest Dork ever

I dont know if its the pregnancy or what, but I am the biggest dork! About a month ago Cam and I went to Chili’s and ordered the chili queso and chips. When we get done we walk out and Cam has this funny look on his face and motined to my shirt. I had that queso all over me. Not exaggerating either it covered my entire shirt. Cam said it looked like I had just got a big handful of the queso and just wiped it all over me. Well, tonight we were in Wal-Mart and they had this display of the Axe shower gel for men. I have been wanting Cam to try some of that and so I was smelling a few bottles by squeezing them (yea I know bad idea) and again Cam has that same look on his face as he did at Chili’s. Yep, it was all over my shirt and not only that I smelled like a man!!!! I was thinking “uh oh if this stuff works like it does on those commercials am I going to have all these women all over me?!” I just need a huge bib to wear all the time.

We had my niece Courtney this weekend for her 8th Birthday! Friday night we took her to Chuck E Cheese. We had 70 tokens and played all the games right along with Courtney. We had a lucky night too. Those games that have the bonus or jackpots were the ones we played most. One game was this big tower thing that had a red line that would go up and down real fast and you had to try to hit the line where it said Bonus. If you did the jackpot was 171 tickets. We all tried that one like 10 times and nothing so we moved on to the other bonus game which basically was the same thing but it was a round game not a tower. Courtney won that it was 41 tickets. Then right after she won that I decided to try the tower one more time and I got it!! I was all excited saying “Cam I won!” just like I was a kid. Of course we gave all the tickets to Courtney in all we got 474 tickets!!

In baby news, I am 18 weeks and the baby is the size of a large SWEET POTATO!! How cute. I am feeling small movements now too!! I thought I felt the first one last Tuesday night right before falling alseep. It was this little double twitch like feeling and I wasnt too sure if it was movement so I just let it go. Then everyday since I have felt a little poke here and there. Its just this weird thing almost undescribable. We went to Babies R Us today to look around. Before I would just go strait to the girls stuff because it is more eye catching and just sooo adorable. But today I saw the CUTEST boy outfit I have to have it its a boy. It was a jacket that was light brown with the cotton looking fabric that shows around the collar and on the pocket area was a little bear that had a sherriff badge it said little sherriff on it. Then they had these boots to go with it!! They were ligth brown suede with little fringes on the back!! I thought if we could find a little cowboy hat to go with it that would be the most adorable thing ever!!! Ok I am done blabbing now. Longest blog ever.

Dr visit

I went for my 3rd Dr visit today. Everything went great! I lost 2 more pounds though. Very odd, but they did say it was normal to lose weight and since I have been more sick latley and we went to Disney and sweat about 3 pounds it makes sense. The heartbeat was stronger than ever and they set me up for my ultrasound visit!!! It is August 1st so less than 2 weeks we will see the baby! They also went over how our insurance works. It is alot cheaper than I thought it would be. Our total out of pocket is $400 (unless it turns out to be a C section or there are complications during delivery) but overall I thought that was pretty cheap!

Ok, yes I jumped the band wagon and started reading these books not too long ago and was dying to get the new one. Yes, we pre ordered our copy! We got it Saturday and Cam and I have been taking turns reading chapters. So far I am on chapter 10. I can tell it will be a good book, but I heard its a sad one. I already feel sorry for Harry for losing all the people he has lost so far so what is next!?! Anyway, there is only one more book left for JK Rowling to write after that what will we all be into?

17 weeks along! The baby is the size of a large onion. His or Her bones are starting to form and hearing is getting better. I had a meeting with the toilet this morning before going to work. I think it was officially morning sickness. :( I am just lucky that is doesnt happen everyday like it does some women. I had to go back to work today. First day back from vacation. Those days are so hard!! I didnt want to go!

We’re Back!!

We are back from our trip and had a GREAT time!! We thought Hurricane Dennis was going to ruin all our fun, but he turned away from us. We got a little rain each day, but it was mainly at night so it didnt ruin anything. It was very hot and of course crowded, but we made good use of those fast passes and kept hydrated all day with the $3.00 waters and powerade. I felt great most of the time. There were times were I felt a little rundown but it was probably just due to the heat. Our hotel, Caribbean Beach, was a little disapointing. It was sooo spread out. There were 7 different hotel areas named after Islands. Each Island had a bus stop, so when you were ready to go to the parks we had to stop at all of the other bus stops to pick up more people bc we were in the last part of the hotel. It would never stop at our island first. It was also Annoying People Week there too. I think all the annoying and smelly people came to Disney this week just for us. We made fun of it all and will have a top ten list of all that very soon.

Terrorist Attacks in London

Terror Hits London

This might be an unpopular post …

It is time to stop this Politically Correct War and get things done! As much as we do not want to make this a religious war, there is nothing we can do to make it anything else. The Egyptian that was recently kidnapped is going to be executed for “being supportive of Christians and Jews.” This is an extremist group which must be dealt with!

This reminds me of Prime Minister Chamberlain during WWII. We can deny this problem and try to appease them for as long as we want, but they are not going to stop their desire to rule! Hopefully this attack in London will turn Blair into the next Churchill and the battle to end the terror will truly begin.
