Elijah’s first time coloring Easter eggs!

I’m a little behind on getting this up on the web, but the other day Sara and I were trying to get Elijah to say if he wanted a baby brother or a baby sister.  Of course, he is getting a baby sister… but what did he say??? 

It has been pretty all week except for today so we have been spending alot of time outside. We bought Elijah a new house for the backyard that he can play in and of course his favorite thing to do is swing on his swingset. I think he could do it for hours!! I am also involved in a MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) group at my church and we had an easter egg hunt today and he enjoyed that. He would pick up and egg and shake it to see if there was something in it. If there was he would put it in his basket if there wasn’t he would drop it back on the floor! HAHA He knows whats going on with the candy in the egg!!

We have been busy here at the Liner house! After finding out this baby is a girl I’ve been doing some SHOPPING! I began with my consignment sale and what a perk it is to be part owner so you can peek at things as they come and snatch them up! I’ve also been looking at baby bedding and have it pretty much figured out. Along with the bedding we found a name we think we are going with!! The bedding is actually called “Julia” and I asked Cam what he thought about it and SURPRISE he actually loved it! So the next test was to see if Elijah would respond to that name and so I asked him if he could say “baby Julia” and he can say it very good. Plus now we ask him where baby Julia is and he points to my belly and says “in there”. So since he is doing that we pretty much are going with that name because that would confuse him I think if we changed it now! So we are now awaiting baby Julia!

We are having a girl!!! We had the ultrasound yesterday and got the news! I was pretty surprised just because I was thinking it would be a boy, but there she was! She was being a stinker too! She had her knees up to her face and her hand over her private. We were getting scared we wouldn’t be able to find out the sex! The tech finally managed to get the shots and everything and so we were able to see her! I showed Elijah the pictures and he just smiled and then went about playing with his spaceship. He doesn’t quite get that things are about to change!!
